Why I Built MP Learn
Hi, I'm Poppie, a university student and lifelong learner. I created MP Learn because I wanted a better way to study a little bit every day without feeling overwhelmed.
Like many students, I found that traditional studying can sometimes feel repetitive and difficult to stay consistent with. I wanted something interactive, engaging, and easy to return to whenever I had a few spare minutes.
MP Learn was built from that experience. My goal is to create a place where students can practise, learn, make mistakes, improve, and build confidence one step at a time.
Using MP Learn as an App
If you install MP Learn on your phone, tablet, or desktop, it works like a regular application. Simply add it to your home screen and open it whenever you have a few spare minutes for revision, practice, or exam preparation.

Payment is handled by PayFast on their secure checkout page. The site unlocks paid chapters only after the PayFast notification confirms the payment.
Subscription Details
Each chemistry path currently follows the launch price model. New-path bundle pricing can be confirmed before public launch.
Card details are handled by PayFast, not stored on MP Learn Chemistry. Learners can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future monthly billing, and access may remain active until the end of the paid month.
Login first, then subscribe. Your paid access is saved against your account after PayFast confirms payment.

Terms & Conditions
By creating an account, using lessons, or subscribing, the learner agrees to use MP Learn Chemistry for personal study only. Content may not be copied, resold, shared publicly, scraped, republished, or uploaded elsewhere.
- Free access includes the first three lessons of each supported course.
- Paid access unlocks the course or bundle selected at checkout.
- Accounts are for one learner only and may be suspended for abuse, sharing login details, payment fraud, or attempts to bypass access controls.
- MP Learn Chemistry may improve lessons, questions, diagrams, prices, and features over time.
Payment, Cancellation & Refunds
Subscriptions are billed monthly through PayFast. PayFast handles card/payment details; MP Learn Chemistry does not store card numbers.
- Individual chemistry path access follows the current launch pricing shown on the Subscribe page.
- Multi-course bundle pricing may be updated before new courses are publicly launched.
- Learners can cancel at any time by emailing admin@phokane.co.za or using PayFast's subscription controls where available. Cancellation stops future billing. Access may remain active until the end of the paid month.
- Refund requests should be sent to admin@phokane.co.za with the account email, payment reference, and reason. Refunds are reviewed case by case, especially where access was not delivered because of a technical fault.
Privacy Notice / POPIA
MP Learn Chemistry collects only the information needed to run accounts, subscriptions, learning progress, support, security, and communication about the service.
- Personal information may include name, email address, password hash, selected course, payment reference, subscription status, progress, quiz attempts, and practice focus data.
- Information is used to provide the learning service, save progress, process subscriptions, improve lessons, detect abuse, and respond to support requests.
- Payment card details are processed by PayFast and are not stored by MP Learn Chemistry.
- Learners may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal and accounting retention duties.
- Security safeguards include HTTPS, server-side paid content, password hashing, restricted config files, and database-backed access checks.
